LEWISTON – Memorial services honoring the life of Charles W. Spencer Jr. were held Saturday morning at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with the Rev. Deborah Breault presiding.

During the service, the Rev. Breault read a poem of remembrance by Charles’s granddaughter, Samantha Spencer, as a tribute to her grandfather. Music played was “In the Garden,” concluding with “Amazing Grace.”

The U.S. Army Honor Detail played taps and presented our country’s flag to Charles’s two oldest sons, Thomas and Alan Spencer, in recognition of their father’s service during World War II.

At the conclusion of services those in attendance greeted the Spencer family with their own personal condolence. All were then invited to a reception of fellowship at Meadow View in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway Lewiston.
