LEWISTON – Edna L. Gregory, 67, a resident of Brackett Road, New Gloucester, died Friday morning, March 16, at Central Maine Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born in New Gloucester on Dec. 5, 1939, the daughter of Leverett and Oretta (Strout) Brackett.
She was a 1958 graduate of New Gloucester High School. Following school, she joined the United States Air Force where she served one enlistment.
She married Claude Gregory in 1967 and then worked as a house manager while raising her family.
She went on to obtain her certified registered medication aide certificate and was employed at the time of her death for Schooner Estates, where she had worked the last ten years.
Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and playing with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Gregory of Poland; two sons, Rick Gregory and his partner, Lisa, of Poland, and Vance Gregory and his wife, Bridget, of Poland; one brother, Raymond Brackett and his wife, Dorothy, of New Gloucester; one sister, Joyce Clifford and her husband, Ernest, of Norway; and three grandchildren, Athena, Matthew, and Ashley Gregory.
