WILTON – Selectmen will hold a public hearing at their 7 p.m. Tuesday meeting to discuss accepting a $100,000 public facilities community development block grant, part of a $400,000 project that Wilton Free Public Library is undertaking to make the library more handicap accessible.

Work will include the addition of an elevator and a handicap parking space next to the library, said Peter Nielsen, town manager.

Selectmen will also discuss details on a fish screen at the foot of Wilson Lake and whether to include it on the warrant for the June town meeting.

The board will discuss a request for support of a riverfront community development bond, an issue that provides funding to municipalities to improve riverfront facilities with opportunities for outdoor public usage, Nielsen said.

Nielsen will also give the board an update on the police department and the town’s revaluation process. The company of Cole, Layer, Trumble have collected most residential information and is in the process of scheduling of values for property, he said.
