KENSINGTON, Md. – Mary Abromson Scolnik, 92, died on Friday, March 9, in Maryland, after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, in 1914. She was a resident of Lewiston until the late 1930s. She was a 1936 graduate of Bates College, and was married to Samuel Scolnik in 1943. He was also a 1932 graduate of Bates College.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen and wife, Susan Scolnik, and Louis and wife, Joy Masoff Scolnik; and four grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Scolnik.
