Lisbon – Shirley J. Lizotte, 71, of Lisbon, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on March 18, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Lisbon Falls, on Oct. 23, 1935, a daughter of the late John A. and Avis A. (Beal) Ridley.

She was a graduate of Lisbon High School and went on to work as a bookkeeper for Blais Market for over 30 years. She married her soulmate, Armand A. Lizotte, on Oct. 16, 1954. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lisbon.

She was an avid reader, and enjoyed collecting dolls and shopping. She loved spending time with her family, going camping with her husband at Northern Pride Lodge in Kokadjo, and going on her outings with her sisters. Above all she cherished her moments with all her grandchildren and her great-grandson. She was a very loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband, Armand, of Lisbon; her three children, John Lizotte and wife, Pamela, of Durham, Sandra Rampey and husband, Michael, of Monroe, Ga., and Carrie Carville and husband, Timothy, of Lisbon Falls; six grandchildren, Joshua and Shane Lizotte, Stephanie St. Laurent and husband, Jesse, Heather Tingley, and Nicholas and Phillip Carville; a great-grandson, Eli St. Laurent; eight sisters and four brothers; Ethel, Lillian, Betty, Eva, Beatrice, Beverly, Linda, Phyllis, Leonard, John, George and Gene; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Raymond; andgranddaughter, Sherri Roop.
