WOOLWICH – Paul A. Bean, 49, of Lincolnville, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a motor vehicle accident on March 18.
He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 29, 1957, a son of Richard & Rita (Pratt) Bean.
He was currently working at Francine’s Bistro as the head chef.
He was a very talented chef and loved to cook. It was one of his great enjoyments.
He was a huge Miami Dolphins and Boston Celtics fan, and he loved NASCAR.
He was also an avid outdoorsman. The outdoors brought him great pleasure and his hobbies of kayaking, biking, fishing, canoeing and mountain climbing.
He also loved his hikes at Mount Katahdin.
Another fetish of his was tattooing.
The greatest love and enjoyment that Paul found in life were his three daughters and his grandchildren. He loved to spend time with them.
He is survived by his three daughters, Erika Bean and fiancé, Alphonso, of Auburn, Brandi Bean of Colorado, and Kandis Bean and companion, Dana, of Auburn; his former wife and the mother of his children, Deborah Bean of Colorado; his mother, Rita Bean of East Dixfield; his eight grandchildren, Alphonse Jr., Mahkaila, Jaeda, Ava-Lyn, Ryleigh, Amanda, Olyvya, and Noah; his four sisters and three brothers, Christina, Rachel, Michelle and Debbie, Ricky, Robbie, and Danny; his best friends and travel partners, Larry and Lynette Platt, whom he loved to travel with to Amsterdam, as well as Mike Greer, Mike Powers, and Brian Hill; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard Bean; a sister, Helena; and a granddaughter, Manicka.
