CARTHAGE – The annual town meeting begins at 7 p.m. Monday, March 26, at the Webb River Hall. Among the 41 articles are ones asking for $52,500 for wages and salaries for selectmen and other officials; $45,000 for roads; $32,000 for sanitation; and $15,000 for the Fire Department.

Selectmen recommend charging interest on unpaid 2007 taxes at 8 percent after tax commitment.
