AUBURN – Funeral services honoring the life of Edna Louise Gregory were held Wednesday morning, at the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son, with Frank Breton presiding. During the service Edna’s favorite song “Make the World Go Away,” by Eddie Arnold, was played in her honor as well as close friend, Jeannette Breton, who shared words of remembrance as well as reading a poem written by Edna’s granddaughter, Ashley, as a tribute to her grandmother. A delegation from Schooner Estates was also in attendance. The U.S. Air Force Honor Detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to her husband, Claude Gregory, in recognition of his wife’s service to her country. At the conclusion of services, the Gregory family received personal condolences from all those in attendance. A private burial will be held at a later date at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
