MEXICO – SAD 43 kindergarten registration is being announced. Parents with children who will be 5 on or before Oct. 15 are asked to call their neighborhood school to preregister the child for kindergarten by Friday, April 13. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Formal registration and screening will take place at the superintendent’s office at 3 Recreation Drive.

The dates and times for registration/screening are: Tuesday, May 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for students who will be attending Rumford Elementary; Wednesday, May 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., for students who will attending Meroby Elementary; Thursday, May 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those who are unable to attend the previous dates.

Parents should allow one hour for the appointment. They must bring an original birth certificate, immunization information and the child’s social security card.
