Book discussion

DIXFIELD – The Adult Reading Group of the Ludden Memorial Library will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at the library. Light refreshments and tea or coffee will be served during the meeting.

The book, “Saving Grace: The True Story of a Mother-to-be, a Deranged Attacker and an Unborn Child” by Sarah Brady, will be discussed. There will also be an opportunity for discussion of other favorite readings.

Drum-a-thon

FARMINGTON – A drum-a-thon benefit with the InnerRhythm tambourine group and friends, including Mike Monahan and Ruth Hill, will be held on Friday, March 30.

Drummers of all ages are invited to help keep the beat any time from 6 p.m. to midnight. Extra hand drums and rhythm instruments are available. Refreshments will be served and donations will be accepted. The event will be held at the First Congregational Church, Main Street. Call 778-3722 for more information.
