LEWISTON – Robert A. Brown, 73, of Greene, died Friday morning, March 23, with his family by his side.

He was born in Greene on Dec. 25, 1933, the son of James and Luella (McDonald) Brown.

He was a graduate of Edward Little High School.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.

On Nov. 23, 1957, he married Colleen A. Bartlett of Mexico.

He was a stock car driver and flagger.

He then embarked on his career of a tractor trailer driver and drove for several companies including B&E Motor Express, Fox & Ginn and New Penn, where he retired.

He was a member of the Teamsters and the Shriners.

Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his greatest joy was his family, especially his granddaughters, Meghan and Katie.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen of Greene; his son, Robert and his wife, Eva, of Worcester, Mass.; his daughter, Susan Murphy and her husband, Phillip, of Greene; his two granddaughters, Meghan Murphy of Greene, and Katie Brown of Worcester, Mass.
