Lewiston – Venice E. Dube, 78, of Tanglewood Court, passed away March 24, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 17, 1928, the daughter of George E. and Simone Ouellette Fortin. She was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating from Lewiston High School and Bates College.

She was married Dec. 30, 1945, to Paul E. Dube. Prior to her retirement she was employed as credit manager at Steel Service Center. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, of Lewiston; two sons, Paul G. Dube and wife, Connie, of Reisterstown, Md., and George E. Dube and wife, Pam, of Arlington, Wash.; two granddaughters, Michelle Dube, and Kerri McGowan and husband, Michael; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Kelsey.
