LIVERMORE FALLS – Police here are looking for a missing person, said police Chief Ernest Steward Jr.

Cassie Mitchell, 28, of Livermore Falls was last seen accepting a ride to Pike’s Oasis, a convenience store on the corner of routes 106 and 133, on Friday night with an acquaintance, Francis Pomerleau, also of Livermore Falls.

Mitchell’s mother, Gloria Mitchell, came into the police station when she hadn’t heard from her daughter over the weekend and didn’t report for work on Monday. Mitchell did not have extra clothing or contacts with her when she left her Campground Road residence for what was supposed be just a few minutes to go to the store, which is about four miles away, Steward said.

It was not in her character to do that type of thing, Mitchell’s mother told police.

If anyone knows anything about Mitchell, Steward said, they are asked to contact the Livermore Falls Police Department or any police department.
