BURLINGTON, Vt. – The following local students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2006 semester at the University of Vermont:

Rebecca Geiger of Auburn, mathematics major, is a senior in the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.

Jeanelle Demers of Auburn, studio art major, is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Kerrie Keller of Gray, English major, is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Kathryn Aguilar of Lewiston, professional nursing major, is a junior in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Caitlin Diggles of Raymond, psychology major, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences.

To be named to the dean’s lists, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
