BATH – Maine humorist, storyteller, and author John McDonald will perform at Morse High School’s Montgomery Theater at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, to benefit Morse’s High School’s Project Graduation. McDonald has been telling hilarious Maine stories, stretched truths, and wry observations for years throughout Maine and New England. A weekend talk show host on WGAN in Portland, a weekly newspaper columnist, and founder of the Maine Storytellers Festival, he is author of “A Moose and a Lobster Walk Into a Bar” and “Down The Road a Piece: A Storyteller’s Guide to Maine” . The evening will be hosted by Bath musician, comedian, and entertainer Scott Davis, and will also include delectable homemade desserts at intermission. Project Graduation provides a supervised, chem free white water rafting trip the night of graduation for all Morse High School seniors. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and are available at Brunswick Bookland, and in Bath at Now You’re Cooking and Bath Middle School.
