STUART, Fla. – James L. Flounders, 85, died Tuesday, March 27, at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Fla.
He was born in Massillon, Ohio, and lived in Stuart, Fla., for eight months, coming from Lewiston.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Before retirement, he was employed by Patron Oxford Insurance Co. in Auburn for 20 years. Prior to that, he was a machine assembler for E.W. Bliss Co. in Canton, Ohio, for 30 years.
Survivors include his daughters, Carol Dittmar, of Stuart, Fla., and Pamela Regula of Aurora, Ohio; two granddaughters, Tracey Curivan and Nicole Bryan; two grandsons, Bradley and Jeffery Regula; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Curivan.
Lee was predeceased by his two wives, Noella and Evie; his parents, James and Clara Flounders; and his nine siblings.
The entire family hopes his dancing shoes in heaven dance better than the last pair he had, and that every hand he is dealt is a winning one.
