AUBURN – Lewis and Sharon McAlister of South Paris are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca McAlister of Auburn, to Douglas Grant of Auburn, son of Ron and Sharon Grant of Greene.

Miss McAlister is a graduate of Lewiston High School and the Atlantic Culinary Academy. She is employed as a dispatcher at Wolaver Transport.

Mr. Grant is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in psychology. He received a ski coaching certificate from the UMF Ski Industries Program and is currently employed at the family business, Grant’s Bakery.

The wedding will be held Sept. 22 at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn.
