AUBURN – Lucienne Eva Nolette, 97, formerly of Lisbon Street, Lewiston, passed away Saturday morning, March 31, at Bolster Heights.
She was born in Lewiston on July 31, 1909, the daughter of Aristad and Doanlda (Gervais) Breton.
She attended local schools and married Albert J. Nolette on Sept. 30, 1929.
He predeceased her on March 16, 1982.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years in the local shoe shops as a stitcher and then went on to cleaning local area schools and businesses.
She is survived by a daughter, Irene Moreau of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Paul Nolette, Clair Griffith, Kevin Nolette, Brenda Fortin and Lisa Peters; six great-grandchildren, Amanda and Kayla Nolette, Stephanie and Jessica Lachapelle, Mathew Fortin and Dakota Nolette.
She was predeceased by a son, Normand A Nolette, who died in 1995.
