RUMFORD – The 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the River Valley Chamber and the Mexico Fire Department, will take place on Saturday, April 7, throughout the towns of Andover, Byron, Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, Hanover, Mexico, Peru, Roxbury and Rumford.

Children ages 7 to 12 may participate. Clues for the hidden eggs will be read through local radio station WOXO 100.7 FM starting at 6 a.m. and concluding at 9 a.m. When an egg is found, the children will have until noon to bring it to the Mexico Fire Department and receive an Easter basket.

Children age 6 and younger will have their hunt at the Mexico Fire Station starting at 9 a.m.

Those who would like to sponsor an egg for $10 can stop by the chamber office at 180 Congress St.
