BRUNSWICK – Arts Night at Curtis Memorial Library will explore universal themes in a presentation called “Riversong, Riverstory” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4. The evening features singer/songwriter Matt Loosigian and storyteller Sarah Halford, who will will weave a tapestry of the stories, teachings and emotions that rivers have long inspired.
This is the third in the Arts Nights series to examine stories of the Five Rivers Arts Alliance.
People have utilized rivers for food, transportation and water needs since the dawn of human civilization. A metaphor for power, grace, unity, peace and time, the river has inspired poets, composers and spiritual seekers through the ages.
Admission is free. For more information, visit www.fiveriversartsalliance.org.
