GORHAM – Ryan Bourque drove in a pair of runs to lead the University of Southern Maine to a 4-1, come-from-behind victory over Bowdoin College on Tuesday.

Held to just two singles through five innings by Bowdoin pitcher and former Lewiston High School standout Luke Potter, the Huskies plated three runs in the sixth inning for the victory.

Potter finished with six strikeouts, and falls to 1-2 on the season.

Men’s Lacrosse
Nichols 16, UNE 7

DUDLEY, Mass. – Matt DiBona scored five goals and Mark Buckley added three more to lead Nichols College to a 16-7 win over the University of New England in mens’ lacrosse action Tuesday.

Nichols held a slim 6-4 lead at the half.

Lewiston grad Bobby Labbe scored one of the first two UNE goals as the Nor’Easters took a 2-0 lead early in the first half.
