NEW GLOUCESTER – Brian J. Wotton, 37, a resident of 1335 Lewiston Road, New Gloucester, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon as a result of an automobile accident on Route 100.
He was born in New Britain, Conn., Oct. 26, 1969, the son of Gary Wotton and Joanne LeVasseur Snyder.
He attended Houlton schools and then relocated to Lewiston, where he finished his education at CMVTI. After schooling, he worked gathering experience in the construction field before he began his own business in 1999. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family. His character was not only loving, but honest and proud of his accomplishments, especially the loving family home that he built in New Gloucester.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Wotton, whom he married Aug. 19, 2000, of New Gloucester; his father, Gary Wotton of Houlton; his mother, Joanne Snyder of Lewiston; two sons, Lucas and Aaron Wotton, both of New Gloucester; two stepsons, Kyle and Bryan Chabe, both of Buckfield; one daughter, Samantha Wotton of New Gloucester; two brothers, Jerry Wotton of Brunswick, and Wayne Saunders and his wife, Bobbie-Jo, of Lisbon; two sisters, Donna Wotton of Lewiston, and Heidi Wotton of Houlton; also surviving are seven nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his stepfather, Robert Snyder, in 1995.
