JAY – Police charged an East Dixfield woman by summons on a charge of transportation of liquor by a minor in connection with an underage drinking party at a camp on the Canton line.

Katie Moody, 18, was charged Monday night, Jay police officer Russell Adams said.

Police from Jay and the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office broke up a party at the camp in the woods off Latham Road in Jay early Sunday after underage drinking had been reported.

Three others also face charges. The case remains under investigation.
