NORWAY – James “Pratty” Pratt, 53, of Norway, died Wednesday, April 4, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, with his family by his side.

He was born in Norway, March 1, 1954, the son of John and Joan (Wilson) Pratt. He attended Oxford Hills High School.

He owned and operated Harris Brothers Trash Removal and was co-owner of “Just Read It,” which was a small publication that he and his wife, Dundee, wrote.

He is survived by his wife, Dundee of Norway; a son, Cody James Pratt of Norway; his parents, John and Joan Pratt of South Paris; a sister, Holly Taylor of South Paris; a brother, David Pratt of Oxford; mother-in-law, Grace Emmerton of Florida; brothers-in-law, Scott Emmerton of South Paris and Bruce Emmerton of Florida; aunts, Judy Marston of Mechanic Falls, Sandra Nowlan of New Brunswick, Canada, and Mary Ann Roderick and husband, Robert, of Norway; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, John “Jack” Pratt Jr.; sister-in-law, Marsha Farley; and his father-in-law, George Emmerton.
