LEEDS – Androscoggin Land Trust will host an early spring nature walk on the St. Pierre land from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14.

The 230-acre riverfront property is owned by Norm and Pearl St. Pierre and is located near the confluence of the Dead and Androscoggin rivers. Trust staff and amateur botanist Mike Auger will lead the tour of working farmland, floodplain and upland forest. The property also features what is thought to be the largest silver maple in the state.

Androscoggin Land Trust is a membership-supported conservation organization dedicated to protecting the natural areas, landscapes, and outdoor experience along the central Androscoggin River corridor.

The trust conserves more than 2,800 acres of land, including six miles of riverfront along the Androscoggin River. Visit www.androscogginlandtrust.org for more information.

Those going should meet at the Center Bridge boat launch in Turner. For directions or more information, call Auger at 782-2302.
