WILTON – Alton and Chrystal Welch celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Feb. 27 at their home in Wilton.

A light luncheon was served with their siblings and neighbors.

They are the parents of Herschel Welch and his wife, Lauristine of Jay, Hartley Welch and his wife, Tena of Raymond and China, and the late Herman Welch. They have nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

The couple received many cards and floral arrangements.
