Well this is the newspaper and it is news. The picture is part of a story.
Yes, it would upset me if it were a family member, but I also realize that news is news. I would rather see a picture with one dead than what is usually there – a picture of several of our military dead in Iraq. I am sorry this happened, and also want to commend the police for their great service to the community. Maybe more pictures will bring the awareness needed to get more help for the mentally ill.
