I was sickened by the picture on the front page of the Sun Journal (March 31) under the headline “Suspected killer holds cops at bay.” What were editors thinking? I don’t think any other newspaper in any other city in the country would go to the extent of publishing something like that.

Maybe I am wrong, maybe not.

Her other family members, I am sure, didn’t want to see that. Nor would her neighbors or friends, and even strangers. I believe an overview picture after the fact (without the body in the driveway) would have been sufficient.
