LEWISTON – A 21-year-old man stabbed early Sunday morning did not suffer life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Randall Gayton was stabbed in the right shoulder at 53 Wood St., said Sgt. Danny LaChance. Gayton was taken to Central Maine Medical Center with a possible punctured lung.

As of Sunday night, nobody had been arrested or charged with the stabbing, according to LaChance.

“We are still interviewing several suspects at this time,” LaChance said.

Gayton was in stable condition Sunday night at Central Maine Medical Center.

The Criminal Investigations Department is investigating the incident.
