LEWISTON – Leonide L. “Joe” Lauzier, 89, a resident of 11 Brule Avenue, Lewiston, died Tuesday afternoon, April 10, at Montello Manor following a long illness.

He was born in Wallagrass, Oct. 7, 1917, the son of Joseph and Lucie (Leclair) Lauzier.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and had been employed at BIW until his retirement.

Survivors include one daughter, Janet St. Hilaire and her husband, Robert, of Lisbon; two sons, Philip Lauzier of Colorado and Paul Lauzier of Lewiston; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ella in 1999.
