AUBURN – A registration night will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today in the YMCA gym.

Camp Connor is a co-ed day camp owned and operated by the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA for youngsters age 6 to 13.

New to this year’s program is the YMCA’s Teen Leadership Camp for ages 14 to 16. The Teen Leadership Camp is based on the YMCA values of character development and is designed to provide teenagers with experiences that will enable them to build leadership skills. Participants will be involved in a variety of camp activities and have opportunities for exploration outside the day camp setting.

Campers can sign up for any number of weeks or for the entire summer (all nine weeks). Registration is limited for each session. Parent handbooks will be available upon registration, providing more details about camp and the daily operations.

An open house for both programs is scheduled for June 16, prior to the start of camp, to give everyone a chance to tour the facility and meet the staff.

For more information, stop by the YMCA at 62 Turner St., call 795-4095, or visit www.alymca.com.
