Lewiston – Georgianna O. Couture, 93, of Worumbo Estates, Lisbon, died Wednesday, April 11, at Montello Manor.

She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 27, 1912, a daughter to the late Cyr and Florida (Talbot) Martin.

She married Anatole Couture on May 9, 1932. He predeceased her on March 17, 1993. She worked for 31 years at Lown Shoe as a fancy stitcher and later Hallowell Shoe. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul’s Church, and the Lewiston senior citizens.

She leaves two sons, Normand Couture of Sabattus, and Robert Couture and his wife, Fern, of Lisbon; three grandchildren, James Couture, Carol Williams and Barbara Yohe; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband; a brother, Reginald Martin; a sister, Charlotte Pomerleau; and a grandson, Michael Couture.
