AUBURN – Bonita J. Roy, 55, of Federal Road in Livermore, died Thursday, April 12, at Androscoggin Hospice House following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 23, 1951, in Lewiston, the only daughter of Robert and Rita (Moreau) Timberlake. She was a 1969 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and graduated with honors in 1987 from Mid State College in Auburn.
On Oct. 20, 1984, she married Roger Roy in Livermore. Bonnie was all about unconditional love, not only to her family but to everyone she knew. Her children meant the world to her. She worked many years at Bass Shoe Co. in Wilton, as a CNA at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, and at Central Maine Medical Center in the payroll department.
Since 1989, she and her husband have owned and operated RB Custom Meats in Livermore. She loved the outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and kayaking at her camp “Good Mood” in Jim Pond Township, near Eustis.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger, of Livermore; a son, Jamie M. Roy and his wife, Jennifer, of Livermore; a daughter, Cathy A. Roy of Lewiston; her parents, Robert and Rita Timberlake of Livermore; eight brothers, Michael R. Timberlake and his wife, Judy, of Livermore, Dana C. Timberlake of Livermore, Kenneth “Sonny” Timberlake of Wilton, James D. Timberlake and his wife, Linda, of Turner, Gary A. Timberlake of Lewiston, Brian K. Timberlake of Livermore Falls, William “Bill” J. Timberlake of North Jay, and Thomas L. Timberlake of Canton; sisters-in-law, Doris Stanley, and Suzanne Smith and her husband, Ken; brothers-in-law, Raymond Roy, and Roland Roy and his wife, Lottie; and many nieces and nephews.
