LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday for Leonide “Joe” Lauzier at Holy Family Church. The Rev. Tony Amato celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Joe’s great-grandsons, Delan and Tahz Fulgham, carried the urn and the U.S. flag into church, and also offered the gifts during Mass. A military honors detail was present and presented our nation’s flag to Joe’s daughter, Janet St. Hilaire.
