AUBURN – Irene Ward was honored recently upon her retirement after 28 years of service at Central Maine Community College in Auburn.

Hired in September 1979 as secretary for the Academic Affairs office, she continued to provide administrative support to Academic Affairs throughout her tenure. She also served as the archivist of academic records and keeper of office schedules.

Ward lives in New Gloucester with her husband. They have two children and two grandchildren.
