Those who responded to my letter of March 14 did not answer the question, “Do you want America to lose the Iraq War?” Instead, they avoided this question. Their memories should be refreshed, because “those who don’t remember history are doomed to repeat it.”

They should honestly ask themselves, who did the following attacks and why :

1979 – Iran Embassy hostages taken

1983 – Lebanon, U.S. Embassy bombed

1983 – Lebanon, Marine Barracks bombed

1988 – Pan-Am flight to N.Y. bombed in Lockerbie, Scotland

1993 – World Trade Center attacked

1996 – Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Khobar Towers Military complex bombed

1998 – Nairobi, Kenya, U.S. Embassy bombed

1998 – Dares Salaam, Tanzania, U.S. Embassy bombed

2000 – Aden, Yemen, USS Cole bombed

2001 – World Trade Center and Pentagon attacked

Is there a pattern here? You bet! All attacks were unprovoked, done by Muslim extremists, many Americans were killed, and we sent no substantial retaliation until after 9/11. However, President Ronald Reagan did bomb Libya, scared Col. Mohammar Gadhafi, and the Lockerbie perpetrators were found and punished.

These Muslim terrorists have vowed to come here, destroy more and murder more. They are encouraged by the congressional Democrats who are playing politics with the issue for their own gain. America should come first and a political party second. Helping the Democrats, our major media feed us only limited selected stories, slanted, with opinions inserted into the facts.

Our troops tell a different story. Listen carefully.
