AUBURN – Eva Mae “Ginger” Boyington, 69, of Wales, died surrounded by her family at the Hospice House on April 13, following a brief illness.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1937, in Mount Vernon, a daughter of Annie (Craig) and Charles Bowser.

She married Sherry Arthur Conway in 1952; they divorced in 1961. She later married Larry Edward Boyington, who died in 1972.

She attended local schools and graduated from the University Of Maine with a degree in early childhood education. She worked as a pre-school teacher for several years.

After caring for her youngest daughter through a terminal illness in 1989, she became a CNA and provided in-home health care. A warm and generous lady, her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Hall and husband, Cy, Melissa Gagne and husband, Dan, son Charles Conway and wife, Jeanne; grandchildren, Shannon Pinard and husband, Tim, Adam Hall and wife, Sveta, Jamie O’Connell and husband, Brian, Amanda Hahn and husband, Tim, Danica Gagne and companion, Jeramey Guay, Gail and T. C. Conway; and her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Sadie and Aidan Pinard, Alex and Max Hall, Noah Gagne and Carter O’Connell, Kirstie, Katie and Kamden Hahn, and Peyton and Jordan Guay; sisters, Gerry Price and husband, Ralph, and Beverly Pennell; nephews, Dana and Keith; a niece, Kim, and their children.

Last but not least, she is survived by her beloved, long-time friend and substitute father to her children, James Morgan of Middletown, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Larry; a nephew, Kevin; and daughter, Gail Mary Conway.
