AUBURN – Sally A. Boucher, 70, of Beliveau Road in Rumford, died Sunday, April 15, at the Hospice House in Auburn, with loving family members at her side.

She was born in Dunkirk, N.Y. on Oct. 20, 1936, a daughter of Thomas and Ann (Dudek) Bielaszka.

She was educated in Dunkirk, N.Y. schools and graduated from Fredonia University in Jamestown, N.Y. as a LPN.

She was a licensed practical nurse and was employed for many years at Rumford Community Hospital and Cozy Inn.

She was a communicant of St. Athanasius and St. John Catholic Church and served as a eucharistic minister for many years. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Eagles Auxillary, and the LeParesseux Snowshoe Club. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading, and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by a daughter, Ann B. Madison and husband, James, of Rumford; a sister, Bernice Schrantz of Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Norman Bielaszka and wife, Barbara, of Chandler, Ariz.; a grandson, Andrew James Madison; several nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend, Valerie Paliak of Dunkirk, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Alfred J. Boucher Jr., in March 2002; and three sisters, Florence, Eleanor, and Clara.
