SAVANNAH, Ga. – Lionel A. “Lee” Tardif, 76, of Savannah, Ga., died Thursday, April 12, at his residence.
He was a native of Jay and had lived in Savannah since 1965. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, and continued working civil service at Hunter Army airfield for 20 years.
He was a long time member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include four stepsons; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Strickland Tardif; his parents, John and Lauza Tardif; his two brothers, Val Tardif and Andrea Tardif; and one sister, Adrienne Fournier.
