FARMINGTON – Marguerite R. Mason, 91, of Vienna, died Tuesday, April 17, at the Sandy River Nursing Care Center in Farmington.

She was born April 1, 1916, in Bath, a daughter of Joyce and Hattie (Watts) Butterfield. She attended Farmington schools.

On Feb. 16, 1935, she married Hezekiah Mason, in Lewiston. He died July 17, 1998.

She worked with her husband in his used car business doing paperwork, and also helped blueberrying. She attended the United Methodist Church in North Vienna and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by one brother, Ernest Butterfield, of Chesterville; grandchildren, Bernard Laverdier, Debra Henry, Michael Mason and Angela Watt; eight great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Bertha Laverdier; and two sons, John and Harold Mason.
