PARIS – Kelsey Jewell has been named executive director of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce.

She is an Oxford Hills native who said she wants to help her community grow and prosper.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Southern Maine and is director of parks and recreation in Paris. Earlier, she was deputy director/programming director for Seeds of Peace, overseeing programs in Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Palestine.

Also, on April 30, Dolores Hill will join the chamber staff as an office assistant. Hill will be responsible for visitor/member information, reception area, coordinating event reservations and managing Web site updates.

Starting in mid-May, the chamber office will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
