AUBURN – The Auburn School Department has announced the kindergarten registration schedule for 2007-2008.

To register a child, parents should call the neighborhood school for an appointment. If they are not sure which school a child will be attending, they should call the Transportation Department at 783-0771.

Parents should bring the child’s legal birth certificate, social security card and all records of immunizations to the registration.

The Auburn School Department offers full-day kindergarten. Parents should talk with the principal of the school if they have concerns about that option.

Registration dates are as follows:

Washburn School, 784-5467, Monday and Tuesday, April 30 and May 1.

East Auburn School, 782-4142, Wednesday, May 2.

Walton School, 784-1528, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8 and 9.

Fairview School, 784-3559, Thursday, Friday and Monday, May 3, 4 and 7.

Sherwood Heights School, 783-8526, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 15, 16 and 17.

Park Avenue School, 783-6814, Thursday, Friday and Monday, May 10, 11 and 14.
