NORTH TURNER – Gerard W. Clavet, 64, of North Turner, passed away peacefully with his family and friends surrounding him on April 19.
He was born July 14, 1942, to Edward and Blanche (Thibodeau) Clavet.
He is survived by his mother, Blanche Clavet of Auburn; son, Rene Clavet of Farmingdale; daughter, Teri Clavet of Auburn; granddaughter, Anjee Clavet of Auburn; daughter, Tonia Holm of Washington; his ex-wife and close friend, Rachelle Clavet of Lewiston; two brothers, Maurice Clavet of Lewiston, and Alfred Clavet of Sumner; and three sisters, Theresa Thomasino of West Monroe, N.Y., Lucille Gouldrup of Auburn, and Annette Braxton of Lewiston; along with their families. Four stepchildren, Debbie Williams, Steve Bourget, Judy Dunham and David Bourget, and their children.
Jerry was predeceased by his brother, Roland Clavet; and father, Edward Clavet.
He had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on his truck. He will be missed by many. There will be no funeral or wake, honoring his wishes. He will remain forever young.
