MEXICO – Paul A. Bilodeau, 81, died Wednesday, April 18, at his residence at the Grandview Apartments in Mexico.

He was born in Rumford, Jan. 14, 1926, a son of George and Victoria (Nadeau) Bilodeau, and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford.

During World War II he served as a Private First Class U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946, with Battery A, 661 Field Artillery Battalion. For many years he was employed as a carpenter, and was a communicant of St. Theresa Church.

He was married in Brunswick, Sept. 7, 1957, to the former Irene Desveaux, who survives of Mexico. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Ralph, Rene, William and Leon Bilodeau; and three sisters, Rolande Hamel, Alice Milishousky and Theresa Dumas.
