LEWISTON – Robert L. Fisher, 61, of 4 Toby Place, Lewiston died peacefully Thursday at his home, surrounded by his family and loving wife, Sharon.
He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 14, 1945, the son of Forest and Alice (Curtis) Fisher. He attended local schools, and had been employed at Central Maine Medical Center until he and his wife purchased “Little Joes” in Lewiston, which they had owned and operated.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Alice Fisher, of Lewiston; his wife, Sharon Fisher of Lewiston; two daughters, Nona Racine and her husband, Fern, of Auburn; Trina Beaudoin and her husband, Andy, of Lewiston; two stepsons, Shawn Gurney and his wife, Yongaa, of Bangor, and Dan Gurney and his wife, Lisa, of Phippsburg; four sisters, Geneva Laplante and her husband, Lou, of Lewiston, Ginny Herrick and her husband, Linwood, of Lewiston, Mary Cooper and her husband, Al, of Auburn, and Linda Thibodeau and her husband, Lucien, of Auburn.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
