LEWISTON – Albert J. Nadeau, 93, of 105 Summit Avenue, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Eagle Lake on Feb. 2, 1914, he was a son of Noel and Derumene Bosse Nadeau. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1933.
He was married to the former Marie Ange Roy for 69 years. She died Jan. 22, 2004.
Mr. Nadeau was a member of Holy Cross Parish.
He worked at First National Food Store, and retired after 37 years at Carmen Thompson Plumbing and Heating Supplies.
An avid hunting and fishing advocate, he also enjoyed gardening and cribbage. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered for his tall fishing tales.
He is survived by a daughter, Constance J. Kirk of Waterville; and a son, Ronald Nadeau of Casco and a loving daughter-in-law, Linda.
He was loved by his grandchildren, Kim Bubar, Bill Kirk Jr., Robert Kirk and his wife Valerie, Lisa Keene and her husband, Chip, and Thomas Nadeau and his wife, Amber; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gerry Raymond and his wife, Francis, of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by his twin brother, Hubert Nadeau; a sister; and two brothers.
