LEWISTON – Edward “Eddie” Paul Hudson, 58, of 96 Oak St., Lewiston, died Monday, April 23, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a period of declining health.
Born in Bath, Sept. 12, 1948, he was the son of William H. Hudson Sr. and Ruth Topham Hudson. Educated locally, he worked for J and P Painting of Turner, until the time he became ill. Those who came to know Ed loved him because he always had a joke or two to cheer them up.
He is survived by his twin sister, Karen S. Merchant of Lewiston; three brothers, John and his wife, Linda, of Turner, James of Auburn, and Richard Sr. of Lewiston; two daughters, Marie and Karen of Lewiston; and a son, Eddie Paul, of Lewiston; his beloved ex-wife and caretaker, Adreanna Hudson of Lewiston; stepdaughter, Angela Ianotti of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Kianna, Nathaniel, Nickolas of Lewiston; many dearly loved nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
He’ll be dearly missed by his first girlfriend and lifetime fishing companion of 51 years, Alicia Johnson of West Bath.
He was predeceased by both of his parents; one brother, William Jr.; and one nephew, Richard.
