BRIDGTON – Anita M. Hatch, 60, of Bridgton, died April 23, after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born in Gardiner, April 25, 1946, the daughter of the late Joseph W. and E. Maxine (Mason) Wallace. She enjoyed her many flower and vegetable gardens along with birding. However, her family was the center of her life.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and she is dearly missed. She recently retired from Bridgton Academy after 24 years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Hatch of Bridgton; daughter, Kelly Beaudoin and her husband, Rob, and their children, Lauren and Nathan, of Monmouth; sons, Eric Hatch and his partner, Brian Campion, of Bennington, Vt., and Mark Hatch and his wife, Shannon, and their children, Devyn and Corbyn, of Bridgton; sister, Betty Wallace of Richmond; brothers, Harry Simmons and his wife, Marilyn, of Reading, Mass., and Joseph Wallace and his wife, Sally, of Mt. Vernon; and by her large extended family.

She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Wallace of Richmond.
