LITCHFIELD – It’s early in the season but the third hole-in-one at area courses has already been recorded.
Doug Read of Litchfield, registered an ace at The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield on Sunday. He aced the #5 hole, 165-yards, using an 8-iron. The feat was witnessed by playing partner Bob Hurley.
Others notching an ace this month were Charlene Dion at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Auburn, and Tyler Rollins at Spring Meadows at Gray.
Springbrook
LEEDS – The Springbrook Golf Club Twilight League has scheduled an organizational meeting for Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. at the Springbrook course.
At least one representative from every team is encouraged to attend.
Also, anyone interested in becoming a new member or spare is welcome.
