AUBURN – Ray Sirois of Harrison will talk about climate change at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Unitarian Universalist Church.

The title of Sirois’ talk is “The Science and Solutions of Global Climate Change.” Sirois was selected to be one of 1,000 people trained by The Climate Project, overseen by former Vice President Al Gore and scientists of The Climate Project, National Wildlife Federation, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.

The presentation includes a slide show from Gore’s documentary film, “An Inconvenient Truth.” His lecture will be interactive and the presentation is nonpartisan.

Sirois will emphasizes the role that public policy plays at all levels of government, and offer climate information about Maine.

The lecture is free.
